I might need a place over the summer in Hong Kong ~ 10 weeks.
Not too far from central HK, around the financial area is preferable.
Anyone have relatives or have any leads? PM me.
Thks.

***Clarification: I'll be working in Hong Kong this summer and need a place to stay. Aside from the employer's resources, wonder if any members know of good deals/ where to look. I wasn't trying to ask for a place to crash for free, cause thats what it sounded like :lol2:Thanks.

For those that visited Hong Kong:

What U.S. bank centers/ATM did you see around most?
I have a Bank of America account and a Chase account, don't know which card to keep home. Or open up a new one with Citi or what not.

Thanks.

Ask a HSBC in NY first to make sure the card will work in both here and there. I believed the charter are not the same. That is-you may not be able to direct debit from your US account.

Oh, if you work in the Kowloon side, you don't have to live too close to the financial district because the whole city spand is within half hour subway-time and it's like 3 mintues between each train! Very efficient system.

If you work in Hong Kong Island side and happen that you live in Stanley Bay, then it will take longer.

Let see if I can get you a map of Hong Kong.

Here it goes:

Remember to go Ocean Park and say hi to my friend-the killer whale and the dolphines.
Also ride the tram I made them with lexan and see if you can jump from them. J/K J/K

Of course, smuggle some corals over when you come back HAHAHHAHAH

commercebank does not charge any fees when using debit card. the trains are the best way to get around and watch out for cars coming from the other side of the street.
Hoteltravel.com has deals for hotels. I stayed in the cosmo and the charterhouse. charterhouse was like 40 a night us. cosmo much more but a bit inconvenient but very nice. rooms are tiny.
