This is something we can't control & happens to all of us.
Brush it off & wait for the next deal.

Some just sign up to post things, to never return or won't log back on for a while.
Some deals happen "behind the scenes" (by PM or E-mail)

If you click on a members profile, most have their e-mail listed & / or AIM info.

When F/S threads have a phone # or E-mail addy listed, that IS the best way to contact them.
I can't count how many times I see other info posted on a thread & members continue to post & send PM's.

We can't put a time-line on a F/S thread.
I myself won't close a F/S thread until the member states that it is "sold."

Maybe there should be a minimum post count before someone can sell something.

This has been brought up in the past. It would prevent someone looking to get out of the hobby quickly from selling their merchandise. Many MR members have benefited from these "fire sales". Moreso, than those who felt burned because their interest in something for sale was ignored/not addressed.
