xbox 360 HELP

Ok so my son just pressed a bunch og buttons on his uncles xbox 360 and the screen says disc undreable for every game he puts in. Is there any to to aliviate this problem? I would really rather not pay 400 bucks for a new one. I have no clue about those systems. Thank you all

Did you try disconnecting the unit first so it can reboot? Unplug it from the wall.

unplug it and see what happens. If not, restore factory default settings
