omg, im so laughing, im crying, laughing my bald a$$ off...
My turn now... I'm tempted to upload a hundred pics, but will try & limit myself...
No Fritz, there was no dog abuse! lol That's Mikes lightning fast combing technique. Tonka loved every second of the grooming as Mike worked his magic and made him the BEST looking dog in the building. However, he did ask that Mike not get any spray in his eyes...

Practice never ends & Tonka looks great! A few reminders and then off to the show ring.

Gee they are judging slowly, guess we'll just wait...
Show time. I'll spare you the hundred action shots & just give you this one...not sure which of the 2 were more focused on the task..though Tonka was very interested in that pocket full of goodies in Mikes jacket...I must add, this was the first time in my life I ever had to stuff a man's pocket
with meat...don't ask...
And when they do announce you're the FIRST PLACE DOG, you get extra special attention from your handler...
And the handler gets kinda happy too...
The handler does have a look for when he doesn't agree with the judges decision...(this pic was one where we weren't quite so successful on the second day)...maybe the judge left her glasses at home...

Samoyed have a tendency to 'sing' when they're happy...one happy dog, handler & helper.
I have to thank Albert & Hanna and Mike and TONKA for the extraordinary weekend...from the snowstorm, to the closed hotel, and ALL of the AWARDS (!!!!!!).
It was my great pleasure to be a part of it all.
...now if I can just stop myself from getting a puppy...see, I know this really great handler...

yes, i didnt forget how hot i am, i mean he is.
Actually, i need mike's help, i am having trouble explaining to tonka that the show is over and he can just be a regular dog again. everytime he stands, he is 'showcasing' himself, and when going for walks, he is walking around like he's in the ring being judged. i'm starting to think mike kept tonka and switched him out with another dog.
