Hi. My girlfriends and I saw this while searching for funeral places for a friend. It is kind of morbid.

I've been saying for awhile that I want to be cremated and scattered in the Atlantic... this is an interesting option.

it's more morbid than filling a body with chemicals so it won't decompose? Not to me. I'd rather my ashes be put to good use rather than pollute the earth.

Already in my will. I'll be cremated too. Just another option to consider though. My soul is already there, it's just waiting for the remains to become, remains.

Same here. I told my wife to do that when I die and scatter the ashes in Hawaii or the great barrier reef so I can be part of the reef.

Can't remember where I read it, but supposedly cremation uses so much fuel to burn the bones that it creates a lot of pollution and is not very environmentally friendly. (Bummer, because it is my preference as well.) Also, unless you are transporting a body across state lines, it does not have to be enbalmed.
