Hi. I have seen this video with my friends and we were in shock. This is terrible. I hope that there is something we can do about this.

That is definitely inhumane, but if any of you guys see how cattle are slaughthered, you would all turn vegetarian. We shouldn't just point at the Japanese, there are things happening here at home we can take care of too.

Yes, this is disturbing. Yes, it is incredibly gruesome. Yes, this is graphic and even seems wrong just to watch it, but they are eating them and if we were to watch video of the KFC slaughterhouses or cow or pig houses it wouldn't be any less bloody. It is disturbing to us because we grew up with Flipper, who seemed almost human like. We go on vacations and pay lots of money just to swim with them. To see them slaughtered so savagely is gut wrenching. But in this same sense any Hindu would have the same reaction to our beef slaughterhouses because the cow plays a huge roll in their religion. This is another cultures practice and while it would be wrong to try and impose our beliefs on them trying to end it the best we should hope for is the regulation of how they do it. As Noodle said, they have already started to turn around and change what it is that they are doing. The "how" in this scenario is what's is wrong not the fact that they are doing it.

no that's not inhumane, but humans at their finest. This is what being human is all about. surely we do control what is right and what is wrong, but that's conscious decision. Being human at our most primitive state is what that is. We are no better then wolves.

I have seen the chicken slaughterhouse video and I agreed it's just as disturbing. You be surprise how few days a chicken lived from an egg to a full chicken pack in the super market.

While I agree this is definately inhumane, it seems that cows are'nt cute and lovable as we take dolphins to be, so no one will bother to bring the treatment of them to our attention.

It's kind of like the issue of dolphins getting caught in tuna nets, no one is concerned with the tuna.

Just because we are at the top of the food chain, does'nt mean we can't kill what we eat in an ethical manner. There is no reason in this day and age with all the technology available, animals for food should suffer in this manner.

Ive seen this video before...... I agree it looks gruesome, but i also think its a type of propaganda. Reason being that if the action is as bad as the video protrayed, then why would they need the music or a dialouge in the background speaking solemnly. If you saw the things in person you probably might be disturbed, but i doubt you would get the same reaction as if you did seeing the video. Some people have the right cause, but just dont use the right actions.

I agree with the fact that its something horrible and inhumane so dont misconstue my words. All im saying is that the video adds an unneccessary "kick" to it.
