That is definitely inhumane, but if any of you guys see how cattle are slaughthered, you would all turn vegetarian. We shouldn't just point at the Japanese, there are things happening here at home we can take care of too.
I have seen the chicken slaughterhouse video and I agreed it's just as disturbing. You be surprise how few days a chicken lived from an egg to a full chicken pack in the super market.Yes, this is disturbing. Yes, it is incredibly gruesome. Yes, this is graphic and even seems wrong just to watch it, but they are eating them and if we were to watch video of the KFC slaughterhouses or cow or pig houses it wouldn't be any less bloody. It is disturbing to us because we grew up with Flipper, who seemed almost human like. We go on vacations and pay lots of money just to swim with them. To see them slaughtered so savagely is gut wrenching. But in this same sense any Hindu would have the same reaction to our beef slaughterhouses because the cow plays a huge roll in their religion. This is another cultures practice and while it would be wrong to try and impose our beliefs on them trying to end it the best we should hope for is the regulation of how they do it. As Noodle said, they have already started to turn around and change what it is that they are doing. The "how" in this scenario is what's is wrong not the fact that they are doing it.
While I agree this is definately inhumane, it seems that cows are'nt cute and lovable as we take dolphins to be, so no one will bother to bring the treatment of them to our attention. That is definitely inhumane, but if any of you guys see how cattle are slaughthered, you would all turn vegetarian. We shouldn't just point at the Japanese, there are things happening here at home we can take care of too.
