I've been thrown from my board pretty hard, but nothing quite like that. I want to know why he's using what appears to be a 20 foot leash on a board that size... I use an 8 footer on my 7 foot board and it still is long enough to annoy me at times.

That doesn't look like a 30 foot wave, nor does it look like an appropriate board for big wave surf. I've been beaten up by my board plenty... it does hurt like hell.

looks like hes about 15 foot in the air, my board gave me a nice 6 stiches under my lip

I should have gotten stitches when I got clocked near the eye with mine, but with no health insurance, my eyebrow covers the small scar nicely! :thrash:
