it looked too large to be a blue ring.
the same poster had a second video that showed what
could have been a blue ring, it was much smaller.
even in that video they were chasing it in the water,
not smart at all.
Yeah, I watched it few more times and I can't find any blue color. I heard blue ring octopus only show his color when he is really pissed off. But if he got handled by like that, he has to show some blue color. I am convinced that this isn't blue ring.
Looks like a blue ring to me. You won't see the blue color in those videos, but you can tell by the density of the spot marks on its body. FYI blue ring octopuses refer to a whole range of different species/subs that show similar patterns, size, and colors.
Well I can say this, blue ring or not, to play with an unidentified creature is not the safest thing in the world. It's kind of like saying it doesn't have a rattle so therefore it's a safe snake to play with.
Blue rings "flash" their blue when they feel threatened. They don't display constantly. I don't think that was a blue ring or the video would have ended much differently. Either way, this just goes to show that Darwinism is still going strong. Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy Darwinism.
