If you are looking for a doctor I know the guy who has trained nearly every Lasik MD in the country. He has performed it over 10,000 times now. The whole thing literally takes 10 minutes. My wife was 20/20 the following day. It looks painful but in reality you take oral valium prior and you don't really see any part of the process. They put a small suction cup on your eye that causes you to lose your vision for the duration of the process. The machine that does it is one of the most remarkable things I have ever seen, it is nearly impossible for the doctor to screw it up. You can't really see it in the video but it paints a red laser target on the center of the eye and no matter how much or how fast you move it will keep up and make sure the degree to which it changes your vision is accurate.

I think it was in the range of $4500-5000 for both eyes. I know that you can get it done for about 50% of that, but this is not something I would shop around for a discount and the doctor we used is literally one of the founders of the process. He has trained nearly everyone in the field. It is a very automated procedure now so prices have come down.

My vision is 20/15 ..it cost me $2000 for both eyes ,the DR i went too had done this sugery to a few ppl i know.,after i went ,about 6 of my friend went and did with no problem
I see only one thing that can go wrong ,,is you moving your eye and the laser not doing what is has to do ,Have worse vision give longer time under the laser IE ,,my vision was 1.75 in both eyes ,laser was on for 30sec ,,now i dont think i could of handle more time ,do to the fact you smell the laser burning your eye (smells like brunt chicken ) :irked: yuk,,thou you dont feel a thing ,totally painless surgery

i do work in NEW YORK EYE AND EAR INFIRMARY. i know who's good in lasik surgery
I had mine done and now have 20/15 vision. Cost me $2000 and my insurance actually ended up covering half of it(They say they dont cover it but I appealed it and they covered half). I didnt feel a thing. They gave me some valium took no time at all. Next morning I was 20/20 and few days later 20/15. My vision hasnt changed and I had the surgery 7+ years ago. Best money I spent I am very glad I did it! Dr Kelly was the doctor I used based on recommendations from people who also used him. He isnt with the same practice he was when I used him he has has he own now.

if you have 20/20 and get it done can you get super hero like vision? something to consider yes :Up_to_som.
