it's a cool design, are you going to bid on it?

I can't tell if that's acylic or glass, it was used for FW so that could mean copper was in the tank.

well yeah.. but ronen.. i need some rock.. lights,,, sump.. few return pumps.. 6 tunze
20 heaters LOL
1000 lbs of sand
buckets and buckets of salt for water changes

and a really big skimmer or 2

so like $5000 more to invest just to start..
not including live stock

Actually you whould probably need to rent a truck for this tank, and mahopac is not as far away as you think. I would say with moderate traffic it's about 1:30 north of the city. Problem being with the truck you are not gonna be able to take any parkways which sux.

LOL Having one of those available to me on a regular basis that's not a problem. only problem with the lift is getting it to where I need it LOL.

I might consider it! I'd like to look at before I bid on it
satnd is nice but it doesnt look like there is much room for a sump and a skimmer (cabinet hieght)

I really need to do something with my tank it's over growen fish are huge now.
I've drawn out plans for the 450 several times just cant get started!

Frank, looking at it again that would not make the best reef tank.
The hood is too low and to build another one in that shape would be a PITA.
Then look at all those angles, imagine have to scrape the algae/coraline off all that. And how would the flow work? seems like you would need a few extra tunzes to hit all the spots in the tank. It's cool looking but the whole things seems like it would add more work to make it work, lol.
