i'd like to thank several members on MR for all their help. Without them this tank couldn't have been set up in three days.

i'd like to thank:

loveitsoft(john)- tank and stand
rstimeout(rich)- for salt and pepper sand and mbuna cichlids
wingo- lave,lace rocks
shop on 86th and 18th ave- lava, lace rocks
chiefmcfuz- eheim filter

fish i had since they were fry. i even removed some of them from the mother's mouth myself. it's great seeing them growing and getting all their colors.

these pics are of the tank after a sleepless three day weekend last week. i'll get clearer pics. the stand you see is a modified version of what i got with the tank. i had to pretty much take the whole frame apart and cut down to size, once i did that i covered it in wood and put a little trim on it. i still need to attach the doors(bought the wrong hinges when i purchased the doors)

these two freshwater tanks i keep @ church. the brothers that live there always wanted fish, and it provides a place where i can extend my hobby.

they asked me to do a saltwater tank too but i just wouldn't have time to take care of it

the shop on 65th and 8th(brooklyn) has some of the most beautiful discus i've seen.

a lot suffered and died this winter. they were fixing some of the heating vents and there was no heat for a couple of days.

i'll get more pics this week.

there are african mbuna and haps in the first tank. i'll get some more pics

Check out the store at Mott street and Bloom. When they have new stock, they have even more discus to choose from. Don't waste time on the two big tanks where they keep their rejects. Those are the junks I told you about how to spot. Just check out the new stock. A lot of the times they have more than ten different types of discus in one shipment. Don't waste time talking to the owner either-I found him only interested in someone who will buy A Fish for Couple Thousand Dollars.
