Blockbuster online or Netflix?

Never used Blockbuster Online, but been with Netflix happily since 2000.

Been a member of netflix since 09/10/04.
I had a problem with a movie being too scratched to play once and one movie that was broken...they sent a replacement the next day.

6 bux a month and limit to 2 dvd's per month as well isn't too bad, or 10 bux a month ( both plans 1 dvd at a time ) unlimited is very cool.

Blockbuster 100%. Netflix has no instant gratification. By the time you get the movies you aren't in the mood to see them anymore, you'll end up with a bunch of documentaries that you want to see but aren't in the mood for.

At least with Blockbuster you can return them and take out new ones.

Wasn't that Blockbuster's approach from the beginning? What's the advantage/difference with joining their online site?

No idea, I don't use the online service. Its like I have two rentals out all the time and don't pay late fees. Blockbuster is only 1 block from my apartment so it can be anymore convenient. With Blockbuster at least I have the two options.

I've had Netflix twice and cancelled it both times.

Cable on-demand is pretty convenient, though more limited in many ways.

Blockbuster for me....
For the reason that Dom stated, plus the unlimited rentals (after you mail back your 2), no late fees & I do get all the new releases asap.

For me it's a total pain to go to the blockbuster store, super far walk, impossible to find parking, so Netflix gets my vote. Plus the "go to blockbuster for instant grat." means you have to go back again to the store to return the movie you got instantly, so that would just be like having a regular membership. Although my buddy just got Wii and when he takes his blockbuster-online rentals in to the store, he gets free Wii game rentals, which is a major bonus for him.

I was refering to BlockBuster "online" as opposed to the store itself.
The store sucks.

Ok so netflix I can get them to send me videos and then I send them back and then they send me a new one, and same with blockbuster however with BB I can return the movies to the store. My friend has blockbuster and told me he also gets free rental coupons for the stores as well. both are 10 bux I think I am gonna try BB first and then Netflix see which one I like.

Blockbuster has this new policy where you return your dvd's you rented online in store and and take out any dvd at the same time. So you got 3 dvd's from online and return them at the Blockbuster Store you can rent out 3 dvd's that same day + whatever is next on your queue online on top of that you get 1 printable coupon every month for one free rental of a DVD or Game. I switched over from Netflix to BB b/c of this.
