It's seasonal so be careful. The Queen Conch made it to the CITES list due to overfishing.

We were told to make sure to put it in check-in luggage and not carry-on this past November. But we decided not to bring any back.

yup, did u stay by the turtle cove last time, how is the reef there?

Yes, twice last year we stayed in Turtle Cove. It's great! Depends on who you ask, some people prefer Smith's Reef by Turtle. However, if you have children, you may feel more comfortable at Bight Reef - it has more people at Bight, the reef is roped off with buoys and you need know where the access points are to Smith's Reef.

P.S. Be on the lookout for barracudas at Smith's. There was one that just hung around our entire stay.

nope, didn't bother cause i heard it was legal only during open season (usually 15 July to 15 October) and permit is required (3 max)

stay @ coral garden this time, nice hotel but realized it is a bit old. snorkeling is always great there.

Yea, it looks a bit dated from the outside. We'll be at Windsong (right next to Coral Gardens) this time.
