Lifetime Fitness -Garden City

I was driving to Lowes over the weekend and noticed the new gym (Lifetime Fitness) is almost done. Website says it will be completed by end of 2015.

Anyway, does anyone here work there or know anyone who does? I know there's a Lifetime Fitness in Syosset already and it gets pretty good reviews. I don't want to contact a sales person yet, and the best price estimates I've seen online are about 120/month for two people. That's a lot. Looking for a solid gym that has more than the cheaper options and isn't insanely packed all day.

I find the LT gym in Syosset to be very well run. Not overly crowded, clean, tons of equipment, very good classes, Spin, Yoga and indoor/outdoor pool.


The only thing tough is the price. It's more like $130+/Person, unless they are running a special promo. I believe a family membership is north of $250.

There is one close to me in NJ it's more like a resort than a gym. Warmer months they have a huge pool that packed. But like greengny said it's pricey
