That might interest those who were at the swap and listened to Christine Williams's talk about "Eat your reef".

So if you are interested, there are actually a couple of restaurants in NYC which are licensed to serve Fugu (eat the wrong part, and it's game over).

Apparently the season has just started (November).

It is actually supposed to be very tasteless. Every year people die in Japan eating the liver (the most poisonous part) because "it is the best thing you can taste".

The apprenticeship to become a certified cook is interesting. For your graduation, you prepare it and eat it in front of the jury.
