Who watches The Wire on HBO?

So, who is watching this show? Have you seen it from the beginning? This is an amazing 4 season arc. Season 5 is set up perfectly! I foresee The Greek making his return next season! Proposition Joe is going down!

Nah I don't think he'll be back. They write more based on their lives and on reality than as if it were a novel of pure fiction. For example the Stinger Bell / Barksdale storyline in Season 3 almost got the plug pulled. HBO wasn't happy with their logic but as they put it "that's what happens to these guys. It's not TV."

I think that the charcter of Michael is actually a take on where Avon Barksdale came from. I also think that the character of Michael and Namond are to show the fence that these kids are on at that age. How they could go either way.

Prop Joe going down? That's crazy talk. Omar will have to die though. His career choice has no 401k.

Man ive been watching the wire since season 1 like you guys and o man... this season i think is right behind season 1... almost sad to see it go in 2 more episodes ... i hope they keep up the goodness in season 5 and dont do like the sopranos did after season 3 and fall off.... best show on tv is definitely correct...
