About a year ago, I 'rescued' this little guy from a 'friend' who didn't treat him properly. He's a roughly 5 year-old male yet he's only about 3-4 inches long. If you are familiar with these turtles they need certain conditions to thrive - UVA/UVB lighting, the ability to bask, mildly heated clean water, and of course, food.

I had two turtles of my own before I obtained this little guy. It seems that none of them are able to cohabitate. Rupert Jee (the rescued turtle - of 'Hello Deli' fame) fights with my male and pisses of my female by trying to mate with her. Right now, I have three separate tanks and I'd love to find Rupert a new home.

Please let me know if you're interested.

Thanks!

I could take him. I have the perfect setup for him. It was for a painted turtle but then turned it into a frog haven. It is a 75g gallon tank with a waterfall on one side and about 8 inches of water. In case you are wondering, the painted turtle moved on to live in my father's natural pond. She is huge!

Here are pictures of the tank. You can't see the water fall but it is on the left side. I no longer have the bamboo growing in the tank either. It kept growing too fast!
