mike if it's a red ear slider, you don't have to have it in water 24/7. only when it eats. if you leave it in water all the time the shell will get fungus.

btw. did you get out of the reef hobby?

tell him i have a whole turtle set up rocks 30 gallon tank with stand two red ears male and female female is 6" long 4" wide and waterfall filter the cascade 400 brand new ...all for $100 and the 30" hood light

I would definately NOT keep three turtles that size in a 30gal
