Barack Obola's own words

"First and foremost, I want the American people to know that our experts, here at the CDC and across our government, agree that the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low. We?ve been taking the necessary precautions, including working with countries in West Africa to increase screening at airports so that someone with the virus doesn?t get on a plane for the United States. In the unlikely event that someone with Ebola does reach our shores, we?ve taken new measures so that we?re prepared here at home. We?re working to help flight crews identify people who are sick, and more labs across our country now have the capacity to quickly test for the virus. We?re working with hospitals to make sure that they are prepared, and to ensure that our doctors, our nurses and our medical staff are trained, are ready, and are able to deal with"

Remember this? Now, NY Health Commissioner Dr. Mary Bassett says, "We consider that it's extremely unlikely, the probability being close to nill that there would be any problem related to taking the subway system..."

Now, I am not saying panic and I certainly am not concerned. I am just pointing out a fact that it is very difficult to trust ANYTHING those in charge at ANY department are saying. Overall, they get a big fat F from me as far as knowing their asses from their elbows.

Do we need to rename the medical team Doctors without brains? This ***** went for a 3 mile jog. Took a taxi. Went bowling. Went to High Line Park. Rode the subway.

WTF am I missing here? Does the fact that this 'humanitarian' AND I USE THAT TERM LOOSELY, shows compassion for ebola victims in Africa mean that he can be totally brainless and compassionless back here in the states? He just returned from W. Africa on an ebola mission and he, as well as the other brainless authorities here in the states don't think to quarantine him????? Am I the ****ing dummy here?

I just don't ****ing get it.

It's quite possibly going to get very bad with the cdc saying there's nothing to worry about until it gets real bad. They'll then change their minds and put out literature on how to protect yourself from the new pandemic known as Ebola.

They will then blame it on the public somehow of not listening to them forgetting they were the ones stating it's all good in the hood.

Then it will hit the fan and wide spread panic will occur with everyone ordering expensive weird equipment to keep them feeling safe.

Welcome to reactive America. One day people in charge will realize being reactive will kill people. Being PROactive safeguards but it's overrated now a days.

Like I said in my original post. It was only a matter of time before it was here in this area.

My point is doesn't matter what anyone(the public) wants government wise. The officials need to be proactive and tell the general public to stuff it. You visit west Africa you get quarantined. Tough teddy bears.

And no nobody wants to be proactive until they have to react, then everyone says why didn't we treat it differently in the beginning. They forget THEY were the ones that thought proactiveness was over reaction.
