I wanted them to get rid of everyone on your list too
i have to disagree check a-rods numbers in his career in playoffs.a-rod is a great a player i wont argue that he has done amazing things and he is going to the hall of fame.he is infamous for not coming through in the playoffs clutch situations or not and thats his track record .i love the way he plays ball and he is a great person off the field.but i dont think NY is the place for him.note:NY is famous for there fans.I can not understand why Yankee fan's want to get rid of A-Rod so bad. Yes he had an off postseason, again. So did the rest of the Yankees. A-Rod probably just had the worst season of his career and look at the numbers he put up. I'm tired of hearing that he isn't clutch. All these homers and RBI's didn't come againts the Royals and Devil Rays when they were already up 8-0. I read somewhere; I'll see if I can dig it up, that in the 2005 season A-rod had better clutch numbers than Jeter and Big Papi.
Steven
i understand what your saying and a-rods numbers just went up in the month of august and september.now look at where alexs bats and jeter bats.if jeter doesnt get on base, arod doesnt put up the numbers that he did.arod had a bad year and still put up great numbers.but this isnt about the regular season this is about post season situations that he couldnt come through on and this dates back to seattle.and big papi aint nothing without homers he cant field and after ramirez went out of the line up those numbers were not that crazy.jeter is one of the most clutch players in the MLB.and one of the main reasons for winning so many titles but one man cant do it by hisself. arod has not pulled an aaron boone yet in his career in the playoffs.nw that is what a great player like alex is suppose to do.he needs to work on something.http://www.tsl.pomona.edu/index.php?page=sports&article=1375&issue=49
