I created a bracket for my office and got 20 people to join (surprising with that many Americans).

I picked Germany over Argentina in the finals. I had Spain making it to the semis but there goes that.

I hear ya but they're still a strong team and are more used to that environment than the Europeans that haven't been doing so well.

Rooting for my native Colombia above anything. They've played better than expected so far, we'll see how far we make it

Yes USA is most likely playing Belgium and with the game they played just now. They're gonna lose.

The USA is looking much better than they have in past World Cups. Let's not forget.. Germany was ranked 2nd in the world, and Portugal was 3rd. I wasn't able to watch the whole game today because I was at work, but caught most of it on my lunch (and then did some meeting prep while watching the rest ) and they played a tough game. They were definitely IN the game the entire time (plus, there were a few calls that were clear fouls/yellow cards on German players that were not called).

We have a world-class keeper and a lot of talent all around. Bradley has been making tons of mistakes, and yes, sometimes the defense has some issues, and I'm not saying they're going to win the entire cup, but it's going to be a good set of games this year.

I know it's cool to hate on the USA soccer team, but let's stop that.

Not saying they're not doing well. I think the keeper has made some good plays. Most of team has perform better than I've expected. Bradley is just making clumsy mistakes. But the fact of the matter is they're most likely not holding up in the next round.
