thats funny- I was going to buy a bunch of those a few weeks ago when amazon had them listed at MSRP for $39.99.. Just didn't have enough cash to make it worthwhile and didn't want to rack up my credit card!
I have a feeling this isn't going to go the way the 1st elmo did- that one was a fluke b/c there was no inventory, which is why it ended up going for so much... this time everyone had the same idea- lets buy up a ton of them and sell them for much higher! With all that inventory out there I think the price will end up being much lower- as people who bought 50 elmos as an investment realize that they suddenly have 50 elmos in their house! (man would that be annoying...)
