Looking for a Dwarf Japanese Maple on LI

Can anyone point me in the direction of a nursery that may have a Dwarf Japanese Maple? Nassau/Suffolk area. I am looking for a red variety called "Shaina"

The Shaina is a beautiful maple. You should also check out the Japanese Lace Leaf Maple. Another beautiful variety. Ours grows no taller than 3' high, but it is about 10-12' in diameter now.

Try Starkie Brothers in Farmingdale. I got my dwarf maple there a few years ago, but I lost it in the hurricane. I don't remember the variety.

Try Milenas garden center in new Hyde park. I was there last week and they had quite a few of them.

I got all three of mine from craigslist, twenty bucks for a pair and the other was free from a different person. Four years and they are doing great.

jaa is 100% right, Craigslist is the best when it comes to getting a good deal.
