My wife is a teacher and she ordered 6 monarch caterpillars for her class.. We ordered two milkweed plants to feed the six thinking it would be more than enough. Well the plants were full of eggs and now we have about 30 caterpillars!! I ordered two more plants but I didn't realize that those might also be full of eggs lol
Long story short I need to find milkweed. I know it grows wild but I just cant find any. Ive been to lowes, homedepot, plant nurseries ect ect and no one has them. I also went out in the rain looking for some at the park. Does anyone know of an exact place where it grows??? I would prefer Queens or Nassau
This is what it looks like
Any help would be great
