turks and cacos recomendation

Anyone been to turks I planning on go for a few day in june any recommendations on hotel ? Were to stay? Resturants to hit up ?

I went to South Caicos a long time ago. The diving was excellent. I stayed at a marine station, so I cannot recommend a hotel. However, it was an amazing place.

i was there last fall. stay at sands. nice hotel but i may try windsong next time cause i ended up snorkeling near coral garden most of the time. best meal was at coco bistro.

We stayed at the wind song. The reefs are right outside the hotel.
As for restaurants/eats, I would recommend coco bistro and conch shack.

Charliethetuna88, I been there 3 times and going again this July. Stood at Coral Gardens and Beaches because of we have two little ones. Keywest Villages which is now owned by Beaches is very nice for couples. Most people go to Coral Garden for snorkeling. You will find Blue tangs,Parrot fish turtles, and maybe this guy too. Going to Beaches with family in December

I stayed at beaches for 10 days. It was awesome, whether you have kids or not. There are like 19 restaurants and you can go on a 1 tank dive 2x a day or 1 2 tank dive a day. We went snorkeling every day, dove for conchs, went on the party catamaran. It was the best vacation we've had. Yeah, it's expensive, but you don't spend anything extra, no tipping, and the beach is immaculate, as well as the property. We went to other properties to pick up people for excursions and I can say just from the condition of the other places, none of them were as nice as beaches

COco Bistro is the only "nice" spot you wanna hit up. I would do all the more local spots other nights. I was in Turks in Nov. so will find out names of places and post them later. I felt the other "nice" spots had been way too costly for what they are.

It was good just got back last saterday the windsong was a great hotel .the beaches are awsome and calm great for snorkeling the reef in back of the hotel .the reef was ok to me maybe because my last vac was hawaii and the reef there was amazing ..the reef in turks is mostly gorgs ,sponges,and some stonys ..i was nice though .coco bistro was good actually all the resturants i went to were pretty good .i do habe one hugh disapointment which was the damn airport it qas horrible and anyome who has ever been here im sure would agree .not so much when i arrived but when i left it was so packed and the whole airport is probally smaller than a superrmarket ...lol overall i had a good time .good weather .great beach .clear water ...thaks for all the recommendations everyone

I stated that in another post about never travel there on weekends.
Did they finish the new addition to airport. They were making it bigger last year. Still small and probably not much better. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm leaving in 4 weeks to stay at Beaches. By the way will be leaving and coming home during the week not weekend. How was the weather? This is a relaxing vacation for me and family. Did you take any underwater shots.

Man they look like they got another 10 years before they finish that airport ...plus everything is super slow paced there ...its def a place for relaxing
