Has your kid ever messed up your tank?

I had my wife's friends son dump 3/4 bottle of Phytoplex in the sump. Woke up to green water. Lol skimmer was workin overtime that day

Mine sprayed what looked and smelled like WD40 in the sump..if it wasn't for the fact I should have had a lock on the sump room and he is autistic I probably would have killed him lol

When I was a kid my father had a discus tank one nite I shared a cup of chocolate milk with them. He still brings it up everytime he see's my reef. always offers to share his coffee with my fish. hahah

This shows everyone to childproof our tanks. Its so important not only for our tanks but also for the children that come near it. Out of my 3 nieces and 4 nephews know that my tank is off limits and they can only look at the fish. i made sure of that from day one and somehow and someway they understood and only look at it. They don't even attempt to open the doors in the sump area.

I've had sand, legos, toilet paper, all sorts of different toys and even live mice thrown into my tanks over the past 10 years. I have 3 kids and the oldest is 10.

Yeah that's a possibility but what about that one kid with a hitting tendency that belongs to your wife's friend lol , whacking away at your tank with a wooden toy hammer.

When I was a kid I accidentally bounced a basketball into my dads 20 gallon Fresh water tank. OOPS....
