I like to take this moment to thank all the members that prayed and wish that my wife would recover from HCC.
She fought a long battle and tried everything that we could to help her beat this awful disease.
There was a period that things were looking up and we thought that she might beat it. However, all that the treatment did was extend her life so we could enjoy her company a little longer. During this period she set out to make as many good memories as possible with us.
On Friday at 7:31 PM. She took her last breath and her suffering ended. She left behind a 12 and a 8 yr old. This decease took the best part of my life and left a huge hole in my heart that will never be able to be filled.
She was an inspiration to all that were blessed enough to meet her.
She overcame cancer twice. The first time was in 98, then again in 2000. She was told that she would never be able to have kids, and she over came that. During the birth of our second child, she developed Cardiomyopathy. She was on the heart transplant list for about a year. Her name came off the list after her ejection fraction made huge huge turn out around and no longer needed the transplant.
While battling all these health issues she still managed to obtain her BS in psychology, Masters in business administration and was 1 year away from completing her second masters. She also obtain her teaching license and had her own party planning company. During her free time she volunteered 2 hours a day to be with children that were sick with cancer. She did all this and never once neglected us.
God only knows how much I will miss her.
