Cronuts

Any one on here has had a cronut? Is it as good as they say? Also, I read online that the Kouign Amann (a.k.a DKA) is as good if not better than the cronut and you don't have to deal with the long line. Any truth to that?
I have been thinking about taking off work one of these days and getting one for my wife.

I refuse to go wait 2 hr at dominique ansel bakery for a cronut. If their is a Paris Baguette in your neighborhood, definitely give it a shot their cronut is like crack.

I'm going to try Paris baguette like Atsoi suggested. I found one in Fort Lee. I'll try them in 2 weeks when we get back from Texas.

You can reserve them on their website. I think it's about 2-3 weeks if you reserved today. You still have to wait in line the day of, but you're guarantee how ever many you requested. It's better then standing in line and them running out, which does happen

Oo apparently they have them in the city too. I'll have to check it out in a month, or two. What's the verdict on the cronut, was it as good as they claim it to be?

I didn't get a chance to go to Paris Baguette this morning because of soccer tournaments. And we fly out on Thursday...so will have to wait a few weeks to try them.

Now, has anyone tried the true Dominuique's cro......wait I'm not following into that one...lol
