This sux :sad2:, He was a good person, and a class act. Watching him all the time it feels like I have lost a friend, And in fact, tho I never knew him or met him, I did. He was that type of personality while on TV he was talking to millions but he had a way of making it seem like he was talking to just you. He will be missed terribly by all who loved him. Pray for his family and keep in mind they are going to be setting up a fund for his childrens education and for his zoo to keep it open. Details will be released later this week they said.

For all those interested, There will be a Marathon of Croc HUnter shows on Animal Planet this sunday starting at noon to honor Steve Irwin and his life. Also on Wednesday there will be a tribute held at Austrailia Zoo to honor Steve as well, I read on the Sydney News Link I posted earlier in the thread that it will be televised around the world but still waiting on information about it. Steve is a great man and his family needs our support in these troubled times and in the future.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, FROM 9-10 P.M. ET/PT. (Silver Spring , MD) — Animal Planet is airing Steve Irwin's memorial service exclusively in the U.S., commercial-free, on Tuesday, September 19, from 9-10 p.m. ET/PT, with an encore broadcast airing 12-1 a.m. ET/PT. The memorial service, entitled Steve Irwin: He Changed Our World, will be a same-day broadcast (with a two-hour delay) of the event Wednesday morning in Australia. The public memorial service for the beloved animal conservationist and television personality is being held in the "Crocoseum," a 5,500-seat stadium at Irwin's Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Australia. B, thanks for the heads up. I've been watching a lot of AP the past few days and the tributes seem to be ongoing. Steve was truly a man's man.

i was watching him last night and still couldn't believe he was gone. his work for wildlife cannot be compared. australians sould be proud.

I am still extremely bummed about his passing, I still watch the show and like you Scarf I can't believe he's gone, but then I realize he's living in all of his fans hearts and in his family.
I keep thinking about his family and feeling so bad because he will never walk through that door again and say hello. I onder if something happened to me what I would miss in the future. WHo would take care of my kids? And it really hits home, Steve is a great person.
