I currently have a stove hardwired to the wall. I've bought new one and figure this is a good time to cut the wire and install a proper jack in the wall. If you're an electrician and wanna make a few bucks, beer, etc then let me know please.

As an electrician, would you say that cutting the wire and installing the outlet box is a simple DIY, or should I just hire a trained professional?

are you handy with tools then its is simple just make sure the wire is safely install search on line how to install a outlet there should be some good info
