THats really cool. Just how many defects will there be? how many peoples helmets wont open correctly or on time. There would have to be so many questions answered before this would even hit the US market. BUT THAT IS ONE HECK OF AN IDEA. THose girls are smart as heck to think of that.

ehh... Im incredibly skeptical as to how functional and practical this would really be... Interesting concept, But overly complicated for no reason. I personally dont have a problem with just wearing a helmet. Theyre not that expensive(as I imagine this would be) and not really uncomfortable IMO. Im sure theres a niche for it, just not the mainstream...

+1 must be very hot in the summer, like wearing a scarf. i think a regular helmet will be cooler.
i'd like to know what triggers it, impact or off level or?

Seen that months ago... While it may be somewhat impressive.... Nothing beats a good old helmet and riding skills.

Maybe for hipsters not looking to mess up their already scruffy hairdos.

You would think... however Australia's bikeshare program tanked because of strict helmet laws and required all renters to wear one. If NYkers want their do's in immaculate shape at their expense of a cracked skull, so be it.
