Question for a computer Geek

OK, my Daughter gave me a new monitor for my Dell PC. It is much wider than my old monitor and now everyone is fat. A lot of those people really are fat, but now they are fatter. How do I adjust the computer for this wider screen? Or can I?
My older screen was higher and made me look thin like I was when I was 20.

Now even the letters and icons are fat.

Adjust the resolution to your new monitor.

Hi

You may just need to adjust your resolution. A higher resolution will make things normal again.

Not sure what operating system you have but the steps on how to adjust the resolution depends on this.

If the monitor came with a cd you can install the video monitor software which will basically do this for you.

Ok, thanks, that worked. I also found out other things as I was trying that.
I found that if I take a picture of myself laying down, then turn the monitor sideways, I am not only thin, but tall.
Now I want to try to make myself better looking. Turning the computer itself on it's side has no effect on that, but I found that if I cover the mirrors in my house with a picture of Tom Sellic, that works great.

But when you send the picture to other people, it will look the same unless you send them your monitor in portrait form.:biglaugh:
