Driving isn't a game

Sorry for the loss of your friend. What people do not seem to realize is that everytime you get in a car, on a motorcycle or any type of vehicle, they should realize the limits of their experience, or lack there of. It isn't cool to drive tinted windows, music blasting, on the cell either texting or speaking to anyone.. and it isn't cool to be out there riding with your friends doing wheelies or speeding down the highway.

While he may have not been doing any of those, I'm sure that if he had more experience under his belt maybe the accident may have been avoided.

Thanks. What happened was that his friend was a new driver when it came down to motorcycles and he randomly slowed down, so in order to avoid a crash, he pulled the break. The front break that is , and he fell off with the cycle landing on him- thats what a few witnesses have claimed.

very very true but unfortunately sometimes it can't be avoided due to the sheer irresponsibility of a driver. I know a fellow rider that left work and riding at a normal speed down a road and a car made a u turn out of a spot without looking or signaling.

the driver was unharmed and only had fender damage but the rider died. flew over the hood of the car.

again I'm sorry for your loss. your friend did lack some experience though because you never only hit the front brakes exactly for that reason. you Have to instinctively engage both brakes which is gained from experience. I made the same mistake my first year riding home when a suburban popped out of a parking lot without looking, perpendicular to the road to get across and stopped. There was no way i could go around. He blocked the entire one lane road and there were oncoming cars on the other side. I high sided and flew off the bike and slid under the front of the car. My bike slid under the drivers side door. luckily i wasn't injured seriously.

Sorry for your loss bro...I too grew up riding motorcycles,dirt bikes and 4wheelers and in this day and age when people are either on cellphones or texting while driving.its hard enough just getting from point A to B without conflict from the lack of experience drivers.i too no longer ride motorcycles...well not totally...I still ride 4 wheelers upstate on 700 acres of land but there's no one else to worry about...once again I'm really sorry for the loss of your friend

Never know what's going to happen on the road since you can't control other drivers

Don't ride bikes in Orlando-drivers here are not normal. 99% of the times, they come out from the parking lot and cross directly to the other side of a 4 lanes parkway. Partially, it's the flaw how the road(With U turn ramp) and exits of parking lot are made and mostly because they not have patience. 1/3 of the drivers are on phone when driving, they rarely use the signal lights, ..., I can go on forever.

Why did you give up New York lol. My light still needs service too. I agree most people are irresponsible drivers
