We use hubsan quadcopters for indoor flight. They fly similar to the complicated 6 channel big helicopters. Another indoor heli would be a trex 250. The problem with the blade and the syma is that they are coaxle so they might be fun to fly but dont react anything like the hobby grade ones. So in a way you could really mess up the muscle memory after going from a hobby grade one to a coaxle and then back. I know it happened to me.

After a year of flying my huge 48" trex 600 I flew a toy for 10 minutes and then went back to the real heli and I almost couldn't fly it because the controls are like 200% more sensitive.

I fly blade cx for indoor LOL and outside only if windy is dead calm :)

I suggest u buy syma 107g for indoor its so fun and cheap -$20 hehe

Yeah. If you want to learn though its going to be much different then what you currently fly. I would recommend a trex 450 with a trainer kit. (sticks with ping pong balls attached.) It's the best one to learn on because the parts to fix it are affordable after a crash and it's a better size than the 250 because thats too small to constantly fix and it will be unstable when trying to learn.

Well here is a picture of the Trex 600 (helicopter which I'm now selling) and the new hexacopter I bought for long range FPV flight.

Just want to say how technology has change over the years. I use to fly way back in the late 80's and the 90's with schulter champion, junior 50, hirobo shuttles, kyosho concepts, miniature aircraft xcel. Those were the norms of that era of rc helicopter. No one dare wanted an electric battery power helicopter. Every one was nitro gas only. And we live off pay check to pay check to fly these suckers. Lol
