Any one from New Hyde Park, NY?

Thinking about moving out of Queens to New Hyde Park to provide a better quality of life and education for the kids.

If you live there would love to here any advice or suggestions you may have.

Also if you commute into the city what is it like and any tips as well.

i went to herricks high which is in new hyde park. although im not from new hyde park i live relatively close. what kinda stuff do you wanna know. i can try to answer them. about the commute im not to sure for the city. i work in great neck. but when i do go in i usually take the train.

i live in westbury right close by, i know lots and lots of ppl that live in nhp and family and they all loved it. o also commute to the city and its fairly easy with a lirr spot right in that town.
