Hi, thanks for the offer to help, I was a victim of hit and run accident , but I was able to take a picture of the car who hit me, but his insurance co is ignoring me and don't return my calls and after 3 moths of calling and emailing they sand me the letter offering 50% of repair cost of my car. I just don't know what to do any more! I don't want to accept this offer. What do you thing I should do? Thanks

Oh and at this point you don't need a lawyern but that's your choice. Majority of lawyers dont handle property damage claims they handle bodily injury claims. I handle both as an adjuster, we will talk tomorrow.

I been through the same thing early last year.Someone saw the person who hit me and left all their contact info on my windshield. I submitted the pics and a notarized letter of what happened from the witness to my insurance company and they went after the hit and run driver without me having to do much more. The transaction went "smoothly" because the person admitted doing it and they had the same insurance provider that i did..Don't forget to file a police report

In my case is different the guy who was driving the car was not the person who own the car.
