I make life very difficult for them. Especially when I talk rather dirty to them. The wife thinks it's funny. Some of the people get very offended, and I'm like well you called me.

telemarketers are not allowed to call cell phones, the email you got is fake and has been going around for years.

I get the telemarketers to eradicate my # from their list real easily. I've had them beg me to let them take me off the list. Here's how,

When you are on the 'Do Not Call' list, it is illegal for them to solicit you by phone. I am on the list. However, ocassionally a stray solicitor will call. I act TOTALLY interested. I get them to give me information about the product. Scamming them in reverse. Then I tell them to hold just a moment, I'm getting a beep. I ask for their name and phone # just in case we get disconnected. They ALWAYS provide it because they think they're getting a sale. When they give it to me, I proceed to tell them they are about to get huge government fines for calling the do not call list #'s. Believe me, they are aware of the fines. They wind up begging me not to turn them in. Then they enter whatever codes they have to make sure I don't get a repeat call. I've never turned in anyones name and #, but it is easy to do. And they will get fined.
