My family and I just returned from a week in St. John USVI, a beautiful place to say the least. I brought my new underwater camera and here are some pics. They are from a kayak trip along a mangrove covered water's edge. I believe the majority of coastal sealife starts in mangroves like these.

Wow looks so much like the rockaways !! Lol jk great shots I love mangroves , they make for excellent bone fishing !!! And good spot for tarpon with light tackle , that's fun, how long did you go for??

We rented a house up Ajax peak, a great way to stay on the Island. We are a family of five so this proves to be the most reasonable since we can eat in. Arnaldolex - this is St. John USVI. The pics are from Hurricane Hole and some adjacent bays.

It depends, I know - that is a bad answer. ST J has houses for all budgets from 2,000 - to crazy for a week. Does your 9000 include air travel? You'll have to factor in meals etc that come w/ an all-inclusive. I'll pm you a website that I use to rent and can share what I have come to know ab the Island. For the rest of us.... some more pics! Sorry ab the quality, especially the sea turtle, beautiful creatures!
