I just upgraded the TV in my living room. I picked up a nice Samsung smart 3d tv. I want to upgrade the sound but I am limited to a sound bar with wireless subwoofer to keep things sleek. I have no experience with this stuff but I know that I don't want to spend $1500 + for a Bose system. Just want some input on what you guys thing the best option would be. I really don't want to go over $500

If sub has to be wireless then maybe the harman kardon sb16. Or on the more budget end either the boston acoustics tvee or lg.

I don't see why you couldn't wall mount some speakers though and just run a cable you will get much better sound.

I have Samsung tv with matching Samsung sound bar and can't complain. Bosse will work better but at last look nice.

I would run a wire for the sub if it made that much of a difference but I only have room for a sound bar.

I bought that Bose 3:2:1 GSX unit a few years ago and although it's being discontinued but I thought it sucked for the amount of money it cost.

i think bose is overrated n overpriced. look into Def Tech, Paradigm, NHT, etc.

I'm looking into the Sonos sound bar but it cost about $700 without the subwoofer. I did see it at best buy for $550 but it was an open box item.

Have you looked into Sonos? It seems to have good reviews.

I ended up buying a sony sound bar with sub woofer. It sucks but good enough for my condo.
