They're big on wine, decent with beer, and slowly getting better with things like cheesemaking. If there's something in particular you need, I may be able to help you get it if you can't make it that way.

Basically, the person I'm buying the gift for just finished up his wineroom, and really likes to make his own wine. He's got the whole wooden barrels going, the giant glass jugs, and etc. I'm just looking to add to his collection. Can't really think of anything off the top of my head lol.

If budget isn't an issue you could look into a wine press....other ideas are wine racks or wine coolers etc....nice glasses maybe, my uncle makes wine if I see him sometime soon I can ask for places and ideas

Honestly, unless you know what he wants, a gift certificate to an online shop (Midwest is awesome) or a place like Corrados is your best bet. I'm a big beer brewer, and mostly have everything I want, but a gift certificate can also be used for supplies like grain or hops (or in his case grapes).

I agree that Midwestsupplies is great, northern brewer is my goto for making all types booze. You can't go wrong with either and they both have winemaking supplies. Hey beer fish, what's in your primaries now ? I'm getting the ingredients together for a chocolate stout possibly with peanut butter.

I just moved a couple of months ago, so I've got nothing on tap or fermenting. I'm hoping to get at least one 10 gallon batch in this December.

Be careful with peanut butter. The oil will kill your head retention. If you plan on drinking it just to enjoy, that's not a big deal, but you'll get dinged if you plan on entering it in any competitions.
