First has anyone ever bought any used tools from United Rental? Can anyone suggest a walk behind leaf blower that works nicely but isn't going to break the bank?

Any other reliable places to buy used equipment?

I was looking at those actually, look nice but I only need it 2 times per year at most. Maybe next year I pick one up.

I have a backpack blower but was looking for a walk behind as well because they are stronger.

chief: haven't purchased any tools from united rentals. I have my eye on a little wonder leaf blower. My neighbor has one and I'm hoping he sells it to me when he moves (since he's moving cross country I doubt he will take it with him).

However the little wonders are even more expensive from when I was looking at them a few years ago.

Did you try ebay? In Jersey we have Taylor Rentals and there are a few lawn service shops that sell used equipment where I live.

This one looks interesting and is somewhat local

I have a shindaiwa backpack blower. Like it but not as powerful as the walk behind leaf blower.

Good luck in your search..
