Donating cloths to those who need it

Hi Mr,

I am cleaning up and given everything that is going on i have decided to first check with any MR member who may be in need of some cloths.

I have some mens cloths 36w-30L and shirts L-XL. Mostly womens clothing 12-14 shirts medium to large. I also have some baby cloths if needed.

If you live in NJ i can have it sent across the gw or in route to lodi nj. For those that live in lower manhattan and need this i can meet you around 42nd st.

Those that live in LI i can prob meet you half way.

If anyone else wants to add to this thread please feel free, if i dont hear from anyone i will just donate it to the red cross or something.

BTW, all the cloths are clean and lightly worn.

I recently did a spring cleaning on all of our clothes/apartment and I don't know what the "rules" are from the city about cooking for people...but if someone can get a hold of bread flour/high gluten flour I can bake loaves of sandwich bread to help people that are going hungry...as well as pretty much cook anything...but I'd be working out of my home kitchen...

I'm really heartbroken/pissed to have seen people dumpster diving for food in the news in our own city...this is sh*t you see in a 3rd world country...not here...I have plenty of yeast, sugar, salt and oil for bread...

My hobbies are cooking/reefing...just wish there was more that I could do...willing to help any way that I can.

Also, if anyone is in need of a set of hands to help with cleanup...I can help out this Sunday if anyone is carpooling or whatever...I do not have a car...

If there's any way that I can help...in any way...please let me know!

Agreed. The dumpster diving is such a sad scene.

Good that I heard the military went in to distribute water starting around that neighborhood tonight.

Wow...I didn't know they finally got help in there...hopefully they got food in to these people and not just water...

Kudos to our military men and women and of course all the firefighters, medics and police that are out helping as well.

I heard FEMA is getting to Staten Island now with water as well. I have not seen direct food from them but neighborhood type food help from stores/restaurants are starting to appear.

There are no central collection or distribution of clothing seen so far
