I am on the board of my condo unit. We are looking to access costs of going with a management company vs self managing our building. So, I need to get quotes for various situations.
We are located in the Fort Greene area.
Only 6 units.
We need:
Accountant
Electrician
Plumber
General Handy Man/Super services
Management company
I am looking for a few quotes to compare with what we have already found:
Management Companies with Competitive rates: Our current quote from a company is $500 per month to advise/help us make sure we do everything a condo board needs to do and provide middleman services.
Super: $400- includes 24/7 emergency services, snow removal, overseer services for all work done in units/building, refuse removal 2-3 days per week, building cleaning, other general things fixed as needed/install minor lighting/minor upgrades inside units (general handy man services.
Accountant- $1400 to provide fully audited books that they file for us.
Electrician- no quotes so far outside of general services provided at cost from the management company. We have an...interesting...electrical layout and prefer someone that will be able to grow with us and develop a relationship.
Plumber/Boiler service-no quotes so far outside of general services provided at cost from the management company. We have an...interesting...plumbing system and prefer someone that will be able to grow with us and develop a relationship.
