Ibanez hit a playoff game tying HR in the bottom of the 9th AND the winning, walk-off HR last night. This has nothing to do with A-Rod.

i agree with Russ here.

Arod is not hitting well, but he has the ability to get hot in an instant and then can be a monster as proved in 2009. i honestly dont see that happening but its a truthful statement. i dont think he is anywhere near the player he was (also in league 18 years) , but is a skilled glove in the infield. i dont personally care for him or his needy personallity but he is a force to be dealt with when hitting well.

and how is Grandy getting a pass for all his strikeouts? collectively as a team they need to wake up offensively. chen was throwing mostly fastballs the other night, this team should be feasting on that type of pitcher and not wasting a solid start by Andy. Game 4 tonight, cant wait!

it may have something to do with it being a simple positon change. pulling grandy, who looks worse than arod at the plate, would shift the of around. just a guess. arod might have some minor injury we dont know about, because he has good numbers against the starter tonight.

watching the highlights of the detroit game, either team from the yankee series is in huge trouble if they dont start hitting the ball moving foward
