I think it is time to switch it up. I am looking for a new career. I have been in sales for over 5 years. I have been selling wire and cable to oems and distributors. I am looking for something asap. Something in sales would be nice. Looking for benefits, retirement such as profit sharing, 401k or pension. I am open to all ears. Pm me if you have anything to offer..

The union route might not pan out, as most halls are jammed with guys waiting for ticket. Most guys will tell you they have been sitting out 12-24 months. Good luck with whatever route you end up taking.

Yeah the city is trying to screw unions out and privatize !! I have seen a lot of carpenters, electricians, steam fitters and plumbers hit the road after a long time of working for the city, it's a hard job market but switching it up may open your possibility
