Just got back home from the Roger Waters show at Yankee Stadium.
OMG it was a great show! :spin:
I'm more a fan of David Gilmour and I'd decided not to attend this show due to the crazy price of the tickets but when my son called me late this afternoon and said his boss had an extra ticket, and he would pick me up in an hour, I jumped at the chance. :bunny:
Now I am really going to gloat...not only was the ticket free but his boss has some sweet connections...the seat was in Brian Cashmans' private suite!
Damn it's nice in there!
The stage was HUGE..I heard they began to set it up on Wednesday.
A few pics from the show.. (wish I knew how to post video's - I took a few of those ..including when they played Comfortably Numb and when the wall came down)
One of the security people had offered us the opportunity to go down right in front of the stage but also told us it was incredibly hot down there..so we passed on that and considering the size of the stage I'm sure we had a much better view of it all from where we were...and A/C
The sound was perfect, the food and drinks were awesome (hey, I wasn't driving!), the company was fablous and we had a great time.
It's going to be a long while before the smile fades from my face. Woo-hoo!!!
..If you're a fan of Floyd music I hear there are still tickets available for the show on Saturday night..you just might want to consider going..it was an awesome show.
