Anyone believe in ghosts?

Creepy thing just happened to me so I was wondering if any of you are ghost believers. I was sitting in a restaurant and this cup of ice just started sliding across the table that was perfectly level. I couldn't believe my eyes I thought someone was playing a trick but at the same time it was frightening so I lifted the cup and there was nothing under it. I tried sliding it in the same path it went and you definitely needed some force to push it. Just weird lol.

I am pretty sure it is the condensation. Particle movement over the surface tension of water so the glass actually aquaplaned over the table. The downward force of the glass pushing on the pocket of moisture under said glass displaced that downward motion. And the glass slides, happens all the time.

yea I was thinking of that too I just didn't think it could lift a cup that heavy.

lol I never seen anything like it. Automatically thought it was a ghost or something but then thought about it more and the condensation under the glass makes sense. I was just sitting there talking and this thing starts sliding across the table my jaw dropped.

The first time I slept at my gf house now my wife. We were sleeping on the sofas, my wife on the large, me on the love seat facing tv. I always fall asleep to sportscenter and at about 2:30am the cable box flickered off and on. I heard the tv go off And on and finally as it was off, in the silhouette of the tv was an elderly lady standing behind the sofa where my wife was sleeping and she was playing with the remote. I did not sleep the rest of the night and when her parents woke up I told them what happend. They kinda laughed aNd asked me to describe her. They showed me a pic and said it could have been my wife's deceased grandmother and told me she always had problems with the remote control. My wife an I had just started dating and I never even knew if she was alive or not. I have always been a skeptic but too many unexplainable things have happend but never anything evil or malicious. Believe it or not?! I couldn't make this stuff up lol

Something like that happened to my mom twice. Once she was in Europe with her friends and in the middle of the night they saw a man with bright blonde hair standing in the corner and they were screaming and stuff then it happened again the next night and my mom called my dad and it turns out his friend who had the bright blonde hair had got into a motorcycle accident and died in Europe the night before. Then another time was she woke up in the middle of the night in our old house and there was a lady in a black dress with sparkles standing at the foot of the bed . she called her the next day to tell her what happened and she told my mom that they wanted to move her old friends grave or something and the dress that my mom saw the ghost wearing was the exact dress she was wearing when she was buried so I guess she came to try to make then not move the grave or something. Theres a few more stories that happened to my mom like that but it's to long to keep typing them lol.

I'd love to believe but I don't! Great thread btw I'll tell my maybe ghost story proably not!


So right after I got married I lost my wedding ring ! I went absolutely crazy looking for it bout 3 hrs I was in tears out of frustration looking for this ring! I must have flipped my comforter on my bed 3 times looking for this thing finally I give up ! Calm down a bit! I sit down at the edge of my bed my hand touches something cold it's my ring sitting in middle of comforter I shook out 3-4 times!!!!

Well in my cast i dont belive but i have an encounter with one when it first moved into my new apartment back in 2009. I was sleeping in the living room sofa it was 1:00am in the morning. Just when i was going to sleep i felt my hairs from my legs and arms start to go up and got the only chill that night. The next day i told my parents what happened that night. They told me that a old person use to live here and he died in the kitchen floor. So ever since i was told that i have NEVER EVER slept again in the living room sofa lol

too many stories from people combined with some personal experiences leads me to believe ghosts/spirits do exist. but I think that's condensation. My cups move all the time when I'm at a restaurant.

I don't believe...but

I tend to not be a believer myself but for about 6 years I was single and shared a house with two friends that was built in the 1880s-1890s and was owned by one of the roommates whose family had owned it since it was built. We would constantly have strange things happen in the house that could not be explained and my friend's family always said it was ghosts.

For example we would have all windows and doors closed , no heat or air on and you would hear a door slam upstairs when all of us were in the den downstairs. This happened every few months. Things that you would put down would be moved by a few inches or feet on the kitchen table when you came back to them just a few minutes later.

I do not know if it was ghosts but it was very creepy.
