NY car inspection sticker

hey guy, just wondering can i do a NY emission inspection on my car on july 4th? I recently moved to Connecticut for the rest of the year for work and wont be able to do it any other day but the 4th.

Most garages will be closed for the holiday. Best bet is either the 3rd or the 5th

Or at a mechanic shop like mine that's ran by money loving Chinese guys who are open till 9pm lol

does it have to be a non-holiday to do this inspection? since it has to link up with the state computers and all?

it can be done anytime before 7p iirc... havent done an inspection in over 15 years. after that time the computers sync up and transmit daily records.

Good to know that Pep Boys does car inspections. I was always under the impression that they only did repairs.

Yeah they do inspections... and will most likely rob you blind if you let them also.. watch how easily they say... your car needs this and that to pass... I'm sure they will go with the most likely stuff... brakes, tires and lights.

lol good thing its a brand new car with only 300 miles on it and under warrenty
