I have read the online articles and information but I am looking for personal experience. Anyone have any experience with this breed of dog?

My brother in law just got a female puppy 4 months ago from northshore and we spend a ton of time every week with him and the puppy.

Everything the books and articles say about the dog is true, very smart dogs, like to get into trouble, mischievously play with you when your not giving them attention and their nose takes them where it wants to and its hard to stop them. Being an alpha owner is a must with this dog and you need to get it trained and obedient early and just be prepared for a good amount of barking and howling. My bro on law is a little too relaxed on training although I tell him all the time. The dog is starting to show she's a little smarter than him when she wants something she's not allowed to have or do. When theres food in the area theres no stopping her btw.

By the way, I've met a few BnT's from breeders and from puppy pounds and such. There is a difference between the two when it comes to obedience and behavior. Just keep that in mind when deciding and what you can do.
